Job Description

The Company:

  • All Design and Manufacture for the provision of modular and bespoke excavation support systems is done in house.

The Role:
  • As a Senior Engineer you will be designing temporary works solutions for ground shoring and structural support applications.
  • You will be managing your own design workload as well as others to ensure the department is operating smoothly and efficiently.
  • Provide technical guidance to the sales team, whilst supporting the internal design team including Graduate Engineers, Design Engineers and Technicians.
  • Support the Engineering Manager and Chief Engineer with department efficiency, training, recruitment, offline projects and assist with bespoke engineering projects when required.
  • Work towards chartership through the companies ICE Company Approved Training Scheme.
  • £38k-£45k, 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension.
  • Based in the companys North West Office, with the option of working from home 2 days a week.
  • 38 hours, Monday to Friday.
The Ideal Person:
  • Minimum BSc / BEng in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Structural /Geotechnical design, with aMinimum of 1-2 years experience in temporary works.
  • The ability to apply independent engineering judgement to solutions.
  • Good understanding of CDM 2015.
  • Working knowledge of Structural Design Softwares & 2D CAD design experience.
  • The candidate must be keen to complete their personal qualifications through the companies ICE Approved Training Scheme.
  • Will want to build and carve a career.
