QA Team LeaderKey aspects of the QA Team Leader role include:
  • Supervision and day-to-day organisation of the QA team, development and training of all departmental staff as part of a continual improvement on systems and resourceEnsure communication is maintained within the QA department by chairing daily hand-over meetings, and structured individual monthly assessments meetings to monitor improvements.
  • To ensure that systems of traceability are correctly operated at each stage of manufacture. To validate traceability by ensuring traceability studies are carried to schedule; encompassing an annual recall traceability study and mass balance exercise toschedule.
  • To carry out a process audit for all new product launches to ensure the product meets the agreed specification and all the associated machinery controlling CCPs & weight control are programmed to specification. Validate all QAS documents before hand overto factory
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Food manufacturing experience is essential for this position ideally from within, Chilled foods, Ready meals, Soups, Sauces etc
  • Will need to have an excellent eye for detail
  • Will have previous supervisory experience
