Job Description

Site / Sub-Agent - Landscaping and Urban RealmWe are looking for an experienced Site / SubAgent to join our team on the Tideway project, a major infrastructure project that will help tackle the problem of sewage overflows into the River Thames. The project involves building a 25 km tunnel under theriver, connecting it to the existing sewer network, and creating new public spaces along the riverfront.If successful you will be responsible for managing the delivery of landscaping and urban realm works across five different sites in South-East London. You will oversee the design, procurement, installation, and handover of various elements such as paving,planting, lighting, furniture, and artwork. You will also coordinate with other contractors, stakeholders, and authorities to ensure compliance with the project requirements and standards.This is a contract position for 12 months, based in our office in Southeast London. You will be required to travel periodically to the sites to monitor progress, resolve issues, and liaise with site teams. You will also have a heavy paperwork focus, as youwill need to prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, plans, and budgets.To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture, urban design, or a related field
At least five years of experience in managing landscaping and urban realm projects, preferably in a large-scale infrastructure or regeneration context
A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high quality standard
A strong knowledge of landscaping and urban realm design principles, materials, and techniques
A good understanding of the Tideway project vision, objectives, and outcomes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
A high level of attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills
A valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licence
