Job Description

Home Care Assistants with Scope to develop Complex SkillsSouth East London- £10.00+ per hour - Weekly PayPart Time Hours; support required across SE18 4AB areaDo you have experience working in care and would like to develop your skills and move towards complex careWe have an exciting opportunities within the local South East London area for Care Assistants to join our team and develop their care skills, working alongside our Branch Nurses and Care Staff with opportunity to progress. We are currently looking for careassistants to visit our clients and assist them with medication, meal support, personal care, and socialising.Experience working in care is essential. You will be supporting our clients to live independently in their own home.Your role will include:

  • Prompting and administering medication
  • Helping with the preparation of meals and drinks
  • Assisting with activities of daily living such domestic duties and personal care
  • Maintaining and updating reports such as daily care notes
  • Undertaking training for Complex Care Interventions - this could lead to further training to support individuals who require Suctioning, Ventilation and PEG
Being employed as a Carer by us means:
  • Support from named Branch Nurse for Complex Interventions

Were looking for:
  • Paid previous experience as a care assistant is an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Kind, caring & compassionate
  • A drivers preferred
  • Good professional and personal references
It is now a requirement to provide an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months of being in the UK if you have lived outside of the UK for longer than a year in the last 5 years.Applicants must have proof of right to work in the UK.
