Job Description

Resourcery Group are supporting an SME manufacturing business to find a highly experienced and fully qualified Management Accountant. You will report to the Finance Director and enjoy working in a broad management accountant role that will evolve and developover time.Your duties will include:

Production of monthly management accounts
Report around costs, performance, and review variances
Business partner with operations and influence decision makers on costs
Support operational teams with planning, goals, objectives, and critical issues
Complete VAT returns adhering to import/export rules
Manage month-end close including journals, inventory, and fixed assets
Support the FD with statutory accounts and audit process
Support new transactional team to meet best practice processes
Look for areas of continuous improvement

Qualification and Experience Required:

Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
Experienced accountant with a blend of management and financial accounts
Manufacturing experience
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
Ability to influence and guide
Diligent
Confident

As Management Accountant your role will be broad and challenging. £50,000 to £60,000
