Job Description

If you are a dedicated NMC or HCPC registered Scrub Practitioner with experience within a range of specialities we would love to hear from you. A passion for improving the treatment of your patients is a must.Full Time post holders will be required to work 37.5 hours per week across four days and will include at least two weekends a month. Shifts are daytime only and do not include nights, Bank Holidays.The role is suitable for newly qualified HCPC registered ODPs.About the roleWe are looking to recruit a number of experienced and committed Theatre Practitioner’s to join our friendly and supportive operating theatre team. Whether you are a Theatre Nurse or ODP, you will be rewarded with real job satisfactionIf you are a looking for a role where you can build a diverse range of clinical skills this is the place for you, as we provide a very wide range of surgical procedures.Duties and responsibilitiesYou will be required to assist in Consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism. You will assess patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.You will be required to explain the role, responsibility, accountability and scope of practice for the assessment of a group of patients requiring perioperative care.You will work across a range of specialisms.Who were looking forYou will be a qualified Operating Department Practitioner and be registered with the HPC. You will have experience working in teams and with minimum supervision. You will also be competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through practitioner qualification and additional training.
