Job Description

RadiographerCompetitive Salary | Woodthorpe Hospital – Nottingham | Full time |The roleIn this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. The X-Ray department is regarded as an integral part of the hospital services and has 2 CR X-ray room, 1 Ultrasound room, and 2 Image Intensifiers, utilisingCarestream CR, RIS and PACS. The service provides 7-day cover and therefore individuals will be required to work flexibly;Monday – Sunday up to 37.5 hours. There is no on-call requirement for this post. You will be involved in all aspects of general radiography, as well as theatre and mobile imaging. The post requires good communication skills and a desire to achieve best outcomes. As an integral part of the team you’ll play an essential role in the day-to-day running of the department, making decision relating to patient care and imaging.Applicant should meet the following criteria

  • BSc in Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • Knowledge of PACS/ RIS / IEP systems
  • Friendly, outgoing personality
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Flexible work hours will be required
  • Confidence to work single handed
