Job Description

  • Provide dedicated support for students with SEN, encompassing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND), both in individual and group settings.
  • Extend beyond teaching to serve as a mentor, ensuring availability for any challenges students may face and handling confidential matters discreetly.
  • Develop, deliver, and assess engaging learning programs for a high-quality teaching experience.
  • Implement pre-planned activities to empower students to achieve their potential, requiring dedication beyond regular working hours.
Requirements:
  • NVQ2/NVQ3 qualification or equivalent is a must.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a teaching/learning assistant or classroom assistant.
  • Excellent communication skills, collaborating effectively in diverse situations.
  • Genuine passion for working with children with SEN.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods for different groups of children.
