My client on the outskirts of Exeter are searching for an experienced Sous Chef to join expand their busy kitchen brigade.As Sous Chef you will you will be responsible for supporting and running the kitchen alongside our Head Chef within a dynamic environment.Including service, training, logging and receiving foods and maintain the quality product.This is a full time permanent position with an immediate start, 40 hour working week over 5 days with 2 back to back days off- Any hours worked over 45 hours per week are paid.Annual salary depends on experience up to £30,000.00 with lots of fantastic company discounts and perks.Own transport required due to location, live in a possible depending on availabilityResponsibilities Striving to achieve high levels of customer care and the highest quality product. Leading the kitchen in the absence of the head chef. Operating as a role model to the kitchen team, demonstrating the best possible level of service and skill at all times. Organising and supervising stock rotation within the kitchen ensuring minimal wastage. Monitoring stock transfers and accurately accounting for any movement of stock. Ensuring dating and labeling of produce is carried out Supporting the head chef in the delivery of food safely and health & safety within the kitchen.
