From managing of business administration, co-ordination and resolution of queries to ensuring data quality and compliance. You’ll build strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure the patient experience is excellent at every step. This will include working with stakeholders to ensure that accurate data and documentation is collected in a timely way so that all chargeable activities can be invoiced correctly first time, that payments can be collected and that required documentation is retained.Along the way, you’ll work closely with everyone from consultants, medical secretaries, departmental managers, hospital teams and customers, to deliver an efficient and effective administrative service from start to finish.The PersonAn established business administrator, you’re already operating at management level in a busy environment. You will have demonstrable experience in the business administration sector including financial experience, ideally within the health and wellbeing industry, hospitality or similar. The data quality management plans and compliance operating procedures you’ve shaped will have delivered real results, and you’ve introduced clear process that has driven improvement. Your ability to quickly understand situations, embrace and lead change is what defines you, together with your flair for managing people, support and training delivery, along with attention to detail. You are as confident collaborating and influencing business plans and customer strategies as you are developing and executing standard operating procedures.Key InformationThis is a brand new role joining our hospital as a result of our new Operating Model and requires someone who is confident and passionate about implementing and coaching on new processes to deliver the best service. You will manage a small team of people and therefore previous experience in people management is essential. You will need to be willing to challenge the status quo and experience of changing/implementing new processes in your role will be highly advantageous. This role will be a Head of Department level role and you will be accountable for your departmentThe start date in this role will be March/April 2021 but we are starting the recruitment now to allow time to find the right candidate and prepare for the launch of this position.
