Teaching and Learning TechnicianThe RoleNetherwood Academy is an 11-16 academy which opened in September 2012, set in an extensive £35 million campus. As part of Astrea Academy Trust, Netherwood Academy is in an exciting period of development and needs colleagues who share the drive and passionto make the academy a success for its community.We are looking for a Teaching and Learning Technician with high aspirations and expectations for themselves and our students, and with a passion for bringing about positive change throughout the academy. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, focussedon improvement and have an unconditional positive regard for all young people.Under the direct instruction of the Assistant Principal, the role is to support effective teaching and learning across the curriculum by ensuring the preparation of resources, display, maintenance of the Academys website, use of social media and in-housecommunication, maintenance and distribution of IT equipment such as IPads, PCs and IRIS.
