Job description Part-Time CookBarnsleyPermanent Role£14,391 - 25 Hours per weekAny 6 days a week, no Saturdays. (rota will be given in advance) between the hours of 10am - 6.30pmResponsibilities· Plan and implement menus that provide a good level of nutrition.· Provide meals that meet individual dietary requirements.· Be responsible for the effective operation of the kitchen this includes drawing up staff rotas.· Making suitable arrangements for times when you are not on duty but the kitchen continues to operate.· Ensure that all regulations relating to food preparation, cooking and storage are complied with.· To ensure adequate stock of appropriate provisions, this will involve ordering in good time from approved suppliers, checking deliveries and invoices and monitoring the catering budget.· To ensure all kitchen equipment is safe to use, maintained and stored in working order.Requirements· Proven experience in supporting a team in a catering background.· Experience and understanding of menu planning to meet dietary needs and nutritional balance.· Relevant qualification in catering at diploma level 3 or equivalent· Food safety level 3Job Types: Part-time, PermanentSalary: £14,391.00 per yearBenefits:
