Elevation have the pleasure of working with one of the UKs leading food producers in the Barnsley area. Our client is looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established team with immediate effect! Salary: £42,522Location: BarnsleyHours: 12 hour days and nights on rotation (Panama shift)A few of the many benefits: *Well established, financially stable company*Advantageous pay*Opportunity for progression for the right candidate!*Discounts on products*Overtime paid at time and a half*Pension SchemeDuties of this position:*Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance *Completing relevant paperwork on a daily basis*Attending to breakdowns*Keeping on-top of all planned preventative maintenance on a monthly timescale*Maintaining good standards of housekeeping on a regular basis*Assisting site contractors where necessary*Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed*Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures.*Meeting daily KPIs*Fault diagnostics and correction within a set time frameDesired experience:*You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds - Apprentice trained or equivalent)*Must have sound Mechanical Maintenance knowledge*It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential *Ideally have 3 years experience within in a similar environment with machinery such as slicers, multivacs, and thermoformers*Must have a sound knowledge of health and safety procedures in the work place*Ideally have experience of working in an FMCG environment previously*Clean driving license*Ideally have a Level 2 in Food Hygiene but not essentialFor further details please contact Beth Roberts at Elevation.REFER A FRIEND!
