Job Description

Penns Personnel are assisting a longstanding, valued client to recruit for an Operations Administrator to work within their Tournament Team. The role is full time and due to the nature of their business, there will be multiple peaks in terms of activityincluding events, together with seasonal / regional / national and European Tournaments.Hours will generally be 9 am to 5pm Mon to Fri, however flexibility is required during the Tournament season. The role will be remotely and location independent based, however the successful candidate will need to be able to commute to Head Office basedon the outskirts of Sutton Coldfield.Main Duties

  • Providing supervisory support to 3 seasonal field based administrators
  • Training and supporting staff with all tournament administration
  • Managing day to day use of tournament management software
  • Ensuring all pre-tour event deadlines are met
  • Processing entries, prize fund schedules and reconciliation of fees
  • Administration of tournament regulations
  • Ensuring European Tour obligations are met
  • Formulating and maintaining the tournament handbook, administration and decisions book.
  • Co-ordination of incoming/outgoing communications via a variety of methods
Experience Required:-
  • Proven administration skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Supervisor experience
  • Strong IT and database management skills
  • An understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
Due to the nature of the business, candidates will need to have a good knowledge of Golf as well as the internal structure of professional Golf.Essential skills:-
  • Able to thrive in a busy role
  • Capable of continually planning, prioritising and monitoring tasks against deadlines.
  • Able to work unsupervised within a dedicated team
  • Being organised and productive as well as having a flexible approach and excellent attention to detail are key requirements.
