Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to work for a medical device manufacturer based in Wokingham. You will be providing technical support within the production process. This is a hybrid role to be based between the office in Wokingham and home.Responsibilities as an Electrical Engineer include:

  • Assist with defining the electro-mechanical sub assembly specification and test documentation
  • Discover problems before the production process through design and analysis
  • Provide engineering support to suppliers, quality and engineering as subject matter expert
  • Support project objectives through value engineering recommendations, plans, schedules and reports
  • Review and update manufacturing documentation (Test procedures, BOM, FMEA etc.)
Experience required for an Electrical Engineer includes:
  • A degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • A background in working with electrical components through manufacturing
  • Worked within projects involving PCBA manufacturing processes and electro-mechanical assemblies
  • The ability to contribute to Design for Manufacture, Design for Assembly and Design for Test analysis
