Audit & Risk Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a large and diversified Fortune 200 business within the manufacturing sector.The audit function is highly valued internally as they deliver a value adding service that assists in ensuring the business achieves its objectives. As such the approach to management is supportive and consultative but always with an awareness of maintainingindependence. There are numerous examples of auditors moving within the business.The audit team is split across the globe with hubs in UK, Chicago, Sao Paolo and Hong Kong. Working from the UK office (2 days a week - rest WFH), you will work closely with colleagues across the units in completing financial and non-financial reviews acrossall businesses. On each assignment, you will understand the various risks, processes, controls, IT systems, business performance metrics, operational challenges, and business initiatives and ensure proper controls and processes are in place for each assignment.This is a high international travel role (should expect up to 50%) role, with the majority being in Europe but with 2 or 3 long haul assignments to Australasia, Americas and/or Asia.Due to the nature of the audits, to be considered you are likely to be ACA/ACCA qualified and come from an external audit background, ideally with a Top 10 practice firm and looking for that first move into internal audit.
