Job Description

Mechanical Application EngineerWindsor£50,000 - £70,000 PA Are you an experienced Mechanical Application Engineer, looking for your next technical engineering challenge If so keep reading as this could be perfect for you!Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Mechanical Application Engineer to work with a market leading business who are actively expanding their engineering team due to company growth.Principle Responsibilities for the Mechanical Application Engineer :-

  • Liaise with internal and external clients to identify their requirements
  • Investigate and undertake analysis on how to solve engineering issues
  • Plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and to budget
  • Design for functionality, robustness, standardization, design for manufacture and cost.
  • Utilization of 2D/3D CAD, ANSYS and other tools to achieve projects goals.
  • Undertake complex calculations and analysis.
  • Ownership of OEM standardisation.
  • Identify new systems and processes to drive quality, efficiency and save costs
  • Communicate effectively with fellow engineers, other departments, internal/external customers and suppliers.
Person specification:-
  • Degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Broad knowledge of engineering sciences, materials and modern manufacturing processes
  • Effective use of 2D&3D CAD
  • Advanced use of CSTEDY (proprietary CFD/FEA package) and FEA (ANSYS) evaluation of stress and deformation, thermodynamic and fluid dynamics
  • Project management skills
This is a full time permanent Mechanical Application Engineer position, working Mon-Fri in a hybrid working style offering 2 days working from home, 3 days in the office. The position is providing an annual salary of £50,000 - £70,000 dependent upon experience.Company perks include:
