Our client in Windsor is looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team Band 6 Clinic Exercise Lead PhysiotherapistSalary £40,000Start ASAP JustPhysio are looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team As the Exercise Clinic Lead you are responsible for tailored exercise medicine assessment and prescription for people with cancer. You will assess patients, plan and deliver exercise intervention programs and services to meet our objectives and the needs of the patients. You will be experienced in developing and managing exercise programs, have industry-based experience and the ability to contribute to the development of the clinical profile of our client. Key areas for the role:*Responsible for the management of and co-ordination of the provision of the Exercise Medicine Service for all patients referred. *Responsible for ensuring all referred patients undergo a comprehensive initial assessment (including risk assessment) and setting a personalised prescribed course of exercise medicine.*Management and supervision of the Exercise Clinic Assistant*Work in collaboration with the Centre Leader, and all relevant centre-based staff to ensure a seamless patient pathway and coordination of a patients cancer care.*Actively contribute to engagement events to promote awareness and understanding of the service.*Ensure patients receive the highest level of service in line with our companies policies and procedures.You will be- *Responsible for ensuring all patients are provided with information about the exercise medicine programme both in written format and verbally as part of the onboarding process.*Accountable for ensuring risk assessments are completed for all patients using the exercise clinic.*Responsible for delegating tasks to the Exercise Clinic Assistant and providing ongoing clinical supervision, training and direct line support.*Actively participate in centre activities, including team meetings, daily huddles etc.*Responsible for accurate data collection and ensuring that all patient documentation is updated in a timely manner, in accordance with HCPC standards of proficiency and GCUK policy.*Responsible for actively promoting the service through regular communication with consultants, presenting at engagement events and internally within GCUK.*Responsible for collating and presenting data about the service, using data to recommend improvements and service development.Experience and skills:*Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience or equivalent clinical experience at a Band 6 level, predominately working with patients in Oncology. Must have completed rotations in Surgery, Orthopaedics, Medicine and Outpatients. *Extra training will be provided by our client *Experience and ability of working in a clinic setting *Experience of teaching and supervising less experienced staff.*Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and use own initiative*Motivational Interviewing/ Behaviour Change training *Experience of multidisciplinary and interagency working *Experience of clinical audit and/or research *Evidence of active involvement in service development & contribution to change within the workplace*Evidence of advanced clinical reasoning and the management of complex cases*Evidence of understanding the skills required for service development and evaluation.*Demonstrate effective communication skills to a range of audiences e.g. patients, carers and other professionals If you are interested in this great opportunity, please call Alison on
