Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a full time logistics / goods in administrator to join a very successful, well established company in Wilmslow that sell products nation wide. The team are lovely and offer excellent training opportunities.Ideal candidate will be motivated, reliable and able to work on own initiative, as well as having proven experience! Immediate start available for the right candidate!Salary is £25,000 per annumRole will report to the logistics manager.Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to track shipments and resolve any issues.
  • Assist in optimising transportation routes to minimise costs and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Provide administrative support to the logistics team, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Assist in resolving any logistics-related problems or discrepancies.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • You should have
  • Good planning, organisational and communication skills
  • Experience in HACCP L3
  • Good understanding of computers
  • The ability to work as a team and individual
  • Ability to develop and improve
  • Excellent working knowledge of with MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Understanding of SLAM
