A fantastic, cutting-edge, digital business with state of the art offices are looking to recruit a part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, AAT Qual) Commercial Finance Analyst in a newly created role with hybrid working. Reporting to a highly experienced CommercialFinance Manager, you will be part of a small, commercially focussed team concentrating on the analysis of commercial, finance data for one of the Groups largest client - a household name. The role will be varied and will require first class communicationsand partnership skills due to direct client contact, other duties will include:* Preparing and analysing weekly and monthly management reports on revenue, forecasts, recoverability and utilization* Interpretation of data and clear, concise communication to ensure understanding from non-financial colleagues* Identify and investigate variances against forecasts* Assisting the Commercial Manager with the preparation and coordination of the monthly reports for submission to executive meetings* Supervision of WIP & Billing ensuring recovery of committed costs.* Exploring the development of new reports and information systems in line with the changing needs of the business.In turn, you will be:* Experienced in a commercial analysis role preferably within a finance / management accounting role* Potentially studying, or ready to study, ACCA or CIMA* Confident Excel skills including: vLookups; Pivot tables; IF statements, manipulation of data & formatting and able or ready to develop your skills in this area with skills such as macros, and Power BI* Proven ability to structure reports, interpret financial information and communicate to non-finance stakeholders (internal & external)* Confident self-starter capable of handling high volumes of work and dataThis is a great, global client with a superb reputation of staff retention & development in an exciting environment with first class benefits.
