Job Description

Are you a driven Bid Writer who is looking for a new role in Cheshire This is a great a great opportunity to join an award-winning construction and engineering contractor who specialise in the healthcare sector with projects ranging in value from £1m - £50m. The role - Bid WriterAs a Bid Writer you will be a key part of the team and will be responsible for creating high-quality written bids and submissions. You will be reporting into the Bid Manager and will be working on a number of complex and interesting bids across the healthcaresector. Duties & Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Provide admin support from initial enquiry to tender submission, including bid writing input from general quotations/client enquiries to large scale bid submissions.
  • Management of the in-house CRM database.
  • Monitoring our dedicated opportunities software.
  • Taking ownership of client portals/frameworks including dealing with daily alerts and maintenance of portal logins.
  • Thoroughly editing and proof-reading material to ensure information is formatted and grammatically correct without spelling errors.
  • Collaboration with the wider team to develop compelling Social Value Bid responses.
  • Review all client documents prior to a bid launch meeting.
  • Work with the Senior Bid Manager to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are clear and compelling.
  • Managing & contributing to the written proposal both in terms of content and presentation.
Required Skills & Knowledge
  • HNC/Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Self-Motivated creative writer
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good eye for presentation/design
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
