Job Description

2nd Line IT Support EngineerAn exciting position has become available for a full time 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our friendly team based in Wilmslow, Cheshire.The successful candidate will earn £25,000 per annum. If you have experience in troubleshooting Windows desktop and server issues plus Office 365 administration and migrations and then this is a perfect opportunity to grow your career and join a fantastic company.Role Requirements

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues on Windows client and server machines and supporting a Windows environment
  • Networking - DNS, subnetting, DHCP, firewalls, VPN
  • Windows Server - AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
  • Office 365 – implementation and administration, migrations of Sharepoint and Exchange, Azure AD management, Powershell experience
  • Virtualisation – Hyper-V
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build a good rapport with team members and clients
  • Role Responsibilities
  • Provide day to day support (2nd/ 3rd Line) to a number of clients with a variety of computing issues
  • Some project work where you will get the chance to manage and implement various projects including file server and email migrations, Office 365 projects (Sharepoint, Power Automate, Forms, Power BI etc,) Azure automation etc.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving application and infrastructure issues
  • Keeping documentation up-to-date
  • Liaising with 3rd parties and suppliers
  • Following processes and procedures
  • Conversing with clients who are non-technical
