ROLE: Machine Operator LOCATION: Corby HOURS OF WORK: Fixed AM or PM (Monday - Friday)BASIC SALARY: £10.50 - £12.07 per hourCompany ProfileOur client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their organisation based in Corby on a permanent basis. My client are a private family-owned company with a 40-year heritage dedicated to leading the fight against preventable infections in healthcare, hospitalityand our communities internationally.In this Machine Operator role, you will be responsible for:

Ensure your machine is clean and tidy at all times.
Ensure that your machine is started promptly at the start of each shift or after any stoppages
Employ a clean as you go policy with respect to housekeeping and hygiene
Ensure line speeds are correctly set and monitored in accordance with the weekly plan
Achieve output and wastage targets
Fill out all paperwork promptly and accurately
Be able to operate machines achieving the required cycle run times.
Read and understand works orders / product specifications and follow these at all times
Perform basic fault finding on your machine

To be successful as a Machine Operator you must:

Problem solving - ability to react quickly, identify problem and develop an appropriate solution

Planning, organising skills
Packaging, filling and converting machinery skills
