The role involves technical, consultative selling and is responsible for both new business and account management. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience and relish the chance to bring in some big numbers. As a family-owned and run company, established for over 80 years, we have a personal, hands-on approach and each tool we manufacture comes with our own stamp of approval.Operating from our 11500ft² facility in Willenhall in the West Midlands, we are only a short distance from the M6 motorway and within easy reach of our UK customer base.Your rewards:- Up to £45,000 per annum basic salary plus commission (OTE £60K+)- Annual car allowance- Workplace pension- 25 holiday days per annum, plus eight statutory daysYour role:- Assume commercial account management responsibilities for our existing customers within the jigs and fixtures and mould tool markets, principally within the automotive sector- Carry out business development activities within our existing markets, as well as within new markets and sectors- Utilise a good understanding of online networking to build and develop business relationships during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, employing techniques such as digital marketing via social media and video conferencing- Work alongside our existing technical team to provide technical input and a creative contribution- Ensure that the customer receives the best service possible- Ensure sales targets, budgets and KPIs are met- Support the development and delivery of the commercial and sales strategy to drive the business forward in terms of growth, revenue and profits- Identify opportunities to expand the product range and target marketsAbout you:- Previous experience in a Technical Sales Manager, Account Manager, or Area Sales Manager role or similar- Business development experience and a proven track record in driving growth- Driven, ambitious and determined- Possess the enthusiasm, experience, presence and ability to represent the company positively at all times to secure new, commercially attractive orders- You will ideally have an engineering background, and have experience of the tooling we manufacture and/or knowledge of our associated CADCAM production processes - Excellent negotiating and sales closing skills- Good business sense with commercial and strategic foresightAlthough an office base will be provided, a willingness to work remotely is required.To apply for the role of Technical Sales Manager, please apply via the button shown.
