Requirements of the Charge Nurse:

Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as either a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or a Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD).
Demonstrated minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health services.
Documentation of ongoing professional development following registration.
Exhibit a proactive and positive demeanor, dedicated to fostering improvement and maintaining high standards.
Possess exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication proficiencies.
Familiarity with NMC standards, guidelines, and professional protocols.
Understanding of the Mental Health Act and adherence to its Code of Practice.
