Job Description

Looking for an advisory role where relationships and fostering a sense of service-driven value are everything Well, 95% of new business comes from referrals and recommendations so you will have plenty of time to focus on your existing clients and how bestto ensure you are offering them a market-leading service.This is a business which is small enough to care about our clients and their businesses but with enough history, and experience of delivering that their reputation proceeds them.This is a newly created role, encompassing a bold vision to continue to build a business focus on relationships, not automation.Youll be joining a talented group of people who enjoy delivering exceptional client experiences, generating a level of profit that enables them to invest and grow for the benefit of all their stakeholders.The role You will be required to build relationships, manage an already-established client bank as well as work with new potential clients, offering a full advisory service, backed up by extensive operational support.This role is an outstanding opportunity for an individual who has solid financial planning experience and is looking to take on the next stage of their career to help manage an IFA practice.But equally, there is an opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career with the right passion, drive and ambition to continue their professional development under the guidance of the managing director and lead advisor.Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to analyse information, liaise with internal support to prepare recommendations best suited to individual clients requirements and review financial reports.
  • Must have commercial awareness: keeping up to date with financial products and legislation as well as ensuring your technical knowledge is maintained.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and contact your clients regarding news of financial products/changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments and ensure that service is delivered to clients in line with the agreed fee/retainer/servicelevel.
  • Continuous development of a client bank and maximising opportunities ensuring profitable relationships are built.
  • Promoting and selling financial products to meet given or negotiated sales targets
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience/Essential attributes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information to non-financial individuals while building a good rapport
  • A focus on strong customer outcomes and success
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent or a willingness/desire to study towards
