SF Recruitment are working with an establish company based in Nottingham, they are looking for someone to support their procurement team on a permanent basis. The role is based in the outskirts of Nottingham City Centre, you will have the option to work a hybrid role once your 6 - 8 week training has been completed in the office! You will have the opportunity for you to join the team as a Procurement Specialist, and will help the smooth running of the team and function by carrying out high level administration. In this role you will: Establish and maintain effective systems and procedures for supporting the Procurement function, acting as administrator for procurement systems Responsible for ensuring that all business site systems are updated with the key pricing information. This may include the use of becoming an expert with multiple types of software systems Working in conjunction with finance teams, ensuring new suppliers are setup robustly on the system To resolve any invoice queries with the supply base in a timely manner. Understanding the root cause of the problems. To manage the contract balance tracker with obtaining supplier balances at the end of each month. Communicating this effectively to the wider group procurement team Raising POs for the function We also need: Some experience with Basic Administration Project management Identifies opportunities for improvement and drives them forward Confident and collaborative approach in building good working relationships, willing to listen to and involve others Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively between tasks Good awareness of the business systems Microsoft Computer literate (either to Internal standard or Advanced level) with specific knowledge of Excel Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 5.30 pm Salary £24,000 - £25,000 If you think you have the relevant experience for the role, please apply online now!
