With Jaguar going fully electric by 2025 and Land Rover releasing more models with a larger role for electrification, our engineers are delivering pioneering solutions that make a new era possible.WHAT TO EXPECTThis role sits within the Cross Functional Test Facilities Team, which is part of Engineering Operations (E O).The team delivers facilities support to the Test Operations team which is part of E O and has as its objective achieving ‘timely, quality’ productreleases through supporting the overall Product cycle plan.In this role you will work within the Cross Functional Test Facilities across various sites (Whitley, Gaydon,AnstyPark and Lyons Park). Supporting E O activitiesunder the control of EO-10026for Jaguar Land Rover. You will also haveother responsibilitiesasoutlined below.The purpose of the role is toensure the safe, smooth, efficient and effective operation of theE O Test Facilities used for Product Development.You will be required to demonstrate safe working practices throughout in line with the Company’s ‘Destination Zero’ policies andyouwill understand the responsibility you oweto yourself and to others in the workplace.Key Accountabilities and responsibilities·Front line Total Preventative Maintenance of Test and Test Support Equipment working either as an individual or as part of a team taking the lead onissues.·Reporting on the status of the Equipment, unplanned failures and restitution.·Preventative maintenance of equipment schedule creation along with dashboard for complete facility status·Monitoring TPMs and ensuring they are adhered to provide Test Equipment availability for Product Development.·Provision of information to support purchasing of spares and support.·Contractor engagement, Contractor Job Registration, (CJR), Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) and planning, co-ordinating, and controlling contractor activity, and performance, ensuring reporting of activity, completion, issues to D grade Engineeror LL6+WHAT YOU’LL NEEDThe ideal candidate will have a customer first mindset, an open communicator with the ability to convey and deliver complex operational ideas in a highly demanding environment.
