A superb opportunity has emerged for a Voids and Lettings Manager to join one of Badenoch and Clarks leading housing clients in a permanent role. This is a varied opportunity that will see you managing the completion of all void works and ensuring that all properties are let within the Organisations deadlines.This is a full time role (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and the client is keen to recruit a candidate with the following experience/knowledge of: *Promoting the concept of enabling customers to make best use of the housing options available to them including social and private lettings *Working closely with Operational colleagues to ensure that void properties are let within Corporate time frames *Overseeing the temporary accommodation services and private lettings service and to ensure that the appropriate standards are maintained *Planning and co-ordinating all re-housing activity and liaise with the Void team. *Ensuring all lettings are made in accordance with legislation*Training and regularly updating the training of existing, new and temporary staff, in procedures relating to Lettings*Taking a range of often sensitive, confidential and often complex decisions with regard to level of housing need to and make appropriate offers of accommodation*Drafting and presenting reports as requested *Recording all actions, communication requests and received documentation relating to customers promptly on the computerised system*Undertaking regular checks on the information held on the system to ensure that all records are accurately held and allocations are given the correct priority The ideal candidate will also have: *Detailed knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Law *A minimum of 2 years experience of managing the end to end void process *A minimum of 2 years experience of assessing housing need and allocating accommodationOnly applicants who feel they meet the above criteria need apply.Badenoch + Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
