Job Description

Location: UK FlexibleSalary: £24,000 - 30,000 pro rata per annumContract: 6 months Fixed Term ContractCould you use your analytical and insight skills to help transform the lives of people around the world The social media team is looking for a motivated individual to help them share the impact of social media comms across the organisation and drive engagement with our online communities. This role will help us understand our audiences needs, as well as use social listening tools & performance analytics to inform and develop more audience focussed content across channels.What you will be doingYour focus will be to grow in this role to become a social media analytics and social listening expert. Youll work with an award winning team to help us understand how we can use social listening and social analytics to make content that really resonates with our audiences. Youll work really closely with our community management lead on the team to understand how audiences are feeling and what they are saying. Youll also share this insight across the broader digital marketing team to help inform an audience led approach to content across channelsYoull be part of the media team, so there will be opportunities for you to showcase how social impacts PR/News. Youll also work closely with the research team and web team to measure the effectiveness of our communications. Youll have a natural inquisitiveness about you and want to learn, upskill and feel empowered in what you do.Reporting to the Social Media Officer, youll be part of the communications and engagement directorate. Youll be supported by an ambitious, creative and fun team who are passionate about creating content to help support people on our channels. Youll work with compassion, integrity and bring your own creative touches to the role. The role might be for you if- Youre into data and love the insight you get from social media channels and audiences. - You like making decisions based on data and dont mind the odd spreadsheet or two. - Youve created reports and had to present them to colleagues explaining the logic behind the metrics. - Youre comfortable using social media channels and have knowledge of different tools which can be used to analyse those channels. - Youve used social listening tools, such as Brandwatch, in the past to help inform strategies, plan content and get inspiration for reaching the right audiences. - You have a good grasp of UTM tracking and Google Analytics, as well as platform analytics to measure and inform social media content & produce regular reporting. - You value teamwork and collaboration. - Youre passionate about supporting people in the most vulnerable of situations, and want to help us really make a difference to their lives.
