Venue Crew LeaderSalary: Up to 30k plus 10% bonus Location: Westfield, White City, LondonWorking: Full time & Part Time PositionsReport to: Venue ManagersWho are we and what do we doSitu Live is a brand-new immersive shopping experience which launched in London, Westfield in October 2021.Were bringing the magic of theatre to the High Street. Situ Live is a real-life retail playhouse where products are brought to life through interactive store design, live demonstrations, exciting events, and expert storytelling. Visitors then scan a QRcode to buy the productsThe venue showcases a world-class collection of brands from the likes of Maserati, Oculus, Fitbit, Sonos, Lenovo, and Bosch to cutting-edge companies with innovation you wont find in other stores.At Situ Live we have a fully kitted-out kitchen, functional gym, and live stage, where we host a variety of events and activations - from cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs to exclusive product launches. As such we are looking for an imaginativeand detail-orientated Venue Manager to drive and develop our venue crew, leading from the front.Lets set the scene and give you a taster of the environment you will be working in:

• You are part of the leadership team of a large venue in Westfield Shopping Centre with a series of bespoke curated environments.
• The venue floor has a team of highly energetic and passionate individuals, working collaboratively our leadership team to ensure the world class running of the venue and tech team for that all important tech backup.
• Situ Live London opened in October 2021 is the first venue of its kind to kickstart a new generation of venues which offers customers an immersive experience with a wide range of home technology products ranging from Home Entertainment to Gym equipmentand all thats in between.
• The store hosts 6 staging areas each with a different theme where live events/shows/acts/demonstrations take place.

What this role entails:

• Guide and coordinate our venue team to complete daily objectives, identify and explore opportunities that drive consumer engagement.
• Ensuring crew maintain Situ Live front of house standards in relation to VM, engagement and consumer interactions, in line with our Situ values.
• Make every moment count on a day to day basis, ensuring the crew are fully briefed and work effectively and to the best of their ability.
• Ensuring relevant risk assessments & daily checks are completed in line with Situ Live Working with StoryTellers to ensure scheduled stories are happening within the schedule.
• Create and deliver purposeful daily schedules, masterclasses, social and self-learning opportunities within the venue.
• Encouraging front of house figure who actively works with individuals on their self-learning and discovery.
• Provide critical support to Venue Director & Managers.
• Leading StoryTellers & Demonstrators alike creating a harmonious and inclusive environment to work within.
• Being a key holder of the venue and supporting strategically with rota requirements.

Your experience:

• We are looking for someone who has experience in any, or a combination of the following:
• Current knowledge of Situ Live concept inc. StoryTelling and Demonstrating
• Familiar with venue management
• Knowledge of staff rota systems
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong people skills

• Have experience in one of the previously mentioned areas.
• Passionate about technology/brands/retail/events
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Creative, great at problem-solving and not afraid to disrupt and challenge the norm
• Adaptable and open minded with a can do attitude
