Senior Data Analyst -SQL - City of London - Permanent - £46k - £51k Per Annum plus bonus!The CompanyA not for profit Financial Services organisation is currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a growing team, based in the heart of London. They offer a great work/life balance with flexibility and recently, they have implemented a casual dress code.The RoleThis role will be responsible for the provision of management information and data analysis by helping the business to manage and improve services. Responsibilities*You will confirm the data is extracted, transferred and loaded correctly (ETL)*You will analyse data to correctly determine its proportions and other key metrics *You will identify and plan steps to address underlying data quality issues that may prevent or inhibit processing *You will reconcile related data received from 3rd parties against company data using predefined methods *You will prepare and present regular management information and ad hoc reports for the business teams *You will design and deliver bespoke MIs and support business dashboards using adequate tools (e.g. Power BI, SSRS)*You will contribute and lead on projects using specialist technical and business knowledge *You will lead the automation of reporting, dashboarding and scorecards.Experience Required *Significant experience and understanding of SQL data structures, including data dictionary and data models *Demonstrate strategic thinking and have an analytical mindset*Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI, SSRS, SSIS*Advanced MS Excel skills *Good interpersonal skills to build relationships with key internal/external stakeholdersDesirable *Experience and knowledge of controls and reconciliation involving large data sets *Exposure / experience of automating business processes*Knowledge of Siebel or other CRM systems*Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g. Azure)Benefits for this position include:-Up to 20% bonus - performance relatedGenerous pensionCompetitive annual leave with the option to buy additional daysHealth InsuranceLife AssurancePlus much more!If the above sounds like you and you would like to join an organisation where you are really able to make a difference, then please apply now for immediate consideration.
