Security ArchitectOutside IR35 SC cleared - Enhanced checks needed London based 6 month contract we need a Security Architect to set out a strategic security framework that will assist in maintaining acceptable level of technical risk to my clients including engagement with senior leaders in the delivery of an effective and efficient security architecture function.Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing expertise, guidance and advice in Enterprise Security Architecture, including up to date knowledge in infrastructure, application and information security solutions, specifically emerging technologies for security enterprise architectures such as Cloud and Serverless Computing. Manage resources effectively, ensure financial control of local budgets and lead the development of Security Architecture Policy and Procedures.Derived benefits and lessons learned will be captured through:Formal handover completed with comprehensive documentation covering solutions, roadmaps, policies, standards, principles, design patterns, and design documentation.Essential:*Degree in IT, IT Security or Systems Engineering related subject. *Relevant IT, IT Security or Systems Engineering Qualification in one or more of the following: BSc, MSc, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CLAS, GIAC, ISO 27001 or equivalent relevant qualifications.Desirable:*Agile qualification e.g. Certified Scrum Master. *Programme Management qualification e.g. MSP.*Project Management qualification e.g. PRINCE2. *Service Management qualification e.g. ITIL.Knowledge:*In-depth knowledge of IT Security audit and IT Security Architecture methodologies.*Detailed knowledge of infrastructure, application and information security solutions and technologies such as Protective Monitoring covering IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Security, Patch Management, System Hardening, Gateway Security and Encryption. *Knowledge of systems accreditation principles. Skills:*High standard and capability of technical report writing using Microsoft Office Suite including Visio. *Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on working within and supporting a team. *Planning and organisational skills utilising Microsoft Project for resource and task planning. *Risk management. *Analytical skills.Experience:*Experience of IT technical design and formal security review of IT technical solutions. *Experience of adopting security standards within public or private sector in one or more of the following areas: CIS Critical Security Controls, HMG Good Practice Guides, Security Policy Framework, ISF Standard of Good Practice, ISO 27001, COBIT, FIRM, PCI-DSS, SOX. *Proven experience of supervision or first line management. *Experienced in effective decision making.
