Job Description

Programme Director (Datacentre Migration)6-month contract We are currently recruiting for an online trading platform provider. Theyre looking for a Programme Manager who has an extensive background in dealing with IT infrastructure-based projects. This Programme Manager will need to have ample experience dealingwith datacentre migrations (whether thats to the cloud, or a physical site). Given the scope of this role, candidates who can give examples where theyve dealt with many various parties/stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.This client requires 2/3 days a week working in their City of London Based Offices. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Programme throughout identification, planning and process phases.
  • Provide support and guidance to the technical and business stakeholders/sponsors.
  • Create a clear governance structure, providing accountability to the programme.
  • Define which projects are required for successfully delivery and support the project teams with technical expertise and acumen.
  • Work collaboratively with 3rd party partners to maximize timeframes and minimize costs.
  • Manage capacity and development of a matrix programme team with a broad range of skills and capability.
  • Maintain a rigorous reporting cycle so all levels of details are available to everyone
Required Experience
  • Experience of datacentre migration projects and general IT infrastructure projects.
  • 6+ years experience in a Programme Manager role.
  • Financial services experience. Exposure to trading services and regulations very desirable.
  • Delivering business value in an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience in working in a complex and busy organisation. Financial Services Desired.
