Job Description

PRODUCTION MANAGER (PACKAGING ARTWORK INDUSRTY) CENTRAL LONDON SALARY UPTO -45K DOECompany- A leading, award winning design agency that operate globally and work with some very well-known branded clients, are on the lookout for their next production manager to join them in their central London office. Role- Whats expected:

  • Assess project and resource requirements in collaboration with the Studio/Resource Manager
  • Estimating, negotiating and agreeing timescales with account teams
  • Monitoring creative and production adjusting resource plans as needed
  • Hold daily stand ups ensuring all teams members are informed
  • Question and challenge briefs where appropriate to achieve better results
  • Ensure that briefs are accurate and communicated clearly
  • Support the account management team to produce detailed technical briefs for production
  • Arrange and chair creative WIP and artwork sign off meetings
  • Partner with the account and studio teams to identify and resolve project issues swiftly
  • Identify and deliver process improvements to improve efficiency, accuracy, speed and quality
  • Ensure critical path deadlines are maintained
  • Overseeing production process are adhered to
  • Proactively monitor the quality, accuracy and consistency of the studio
  • Deep understanding of print processes to meet the needs of our client base and different production facilities
  • Liaise with the account and studio teams to ensure quality of service
  • Mentor and train new team members in studio process and workflows
  • Buddy team members for holiday and sickness
  • Roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile in order to set us apart from our peers and competitors
    • Requirements-
  • Hands on technical ability in artwork, repro, qc, retouching
  • Packaging experience
  • Previous experience in a design agency environment
  • Proven, relevant experience in a production manager role
  • Provide key technical support to the Operations Director and Studio/Resource Manager
  • Escalate issues to the Operations Director as appropriate
  • Ensure that administration, company process and standards are maintained
  • Help identify opportunities and communicate these to the relevant channels
  • Take responsibility for your continued professional development and identifying your training requirements in collaboration with the operations director
