Job Description

Robert Half Financial Services are recruiting for an award winning "InsureTech" firm based in the City of London, near Liverpool Street station. This is the third hire into the London finance function in the last twelve months, this new position is for a newly qualified management accountant. About the role

  • Lead and manage the day to day finance activities
  • Manage team of two accounts assistants
  • Responsible for production of month end management accounts
  • Trial Balance and P & L review with the Senior Finance manager at month end to ensure all accruals, prepayments and postings have been made
  • Responsibility for full reconciliation of accounts at month end
  • Management of all operating expenses and conducting variance analysis and reporting.
  • VAT reporting
    • About you
  • Recently qualified in professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • If coming from an accountancy practice you will have some accounts preparation experience
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office and Sage
  • Advanced standard of English and Maths
  • Financial services experience would be an advantage
