Job Description

A leading Social Media Company is seeking a Media/ Public Policy Coverage Report to join their team on a contract basis for 11 months.Duties:

  • Read and analyse news articles/broadcast/social media clips
  • Translation of press materials on a tight timeframe
  • Prioritise respective clips and compile into daily reports as needed.
  • Compile daily briefing book for when Executives visit the region
  • Compile media coverage reports as requested for major launches and events
  • Use Cisions TrendKite measurement in their languages (including correcting sentiment tags)
  • Support additional media research for public policy and communications activities.
  • Not sure if well need these, but maybe we keep them in here for now
  • Prioritise multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Learn quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
    • Skills:
  • Fluency in English + [language]. Fluency in additional major European languages or Arabic is a plus
  • Previous internship or professional experience in policy, research, or communications preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in politics, public policy, and technology.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to think, plan, and execute resourcefully.
  • Experience in the Internet technology industry is a plus.
