Job Description

Robert Half are currently recruiting within the Financial Services sector for a Management Accountant in the City of London.RoleThis Management Accountant position is for an Asset Management firm in the City of London. This is an exciting, newly created role with a chance to work closely with the Partner and Managing Director, offering a lot of exposure to an ambitious and experienced individual. There is a lot of scope for development within this role and your primary responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:

  • Reporting into the Head of Finance and Operations / Partner
  • All aspects of accounting including bookkeeping, invoice processing, processing expense requests
  • Producing full sets of consolidated management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Monitoring of ledgers and tenant arrears
  • Ensure groups compliance with all debt covenants and reporting requirements
  • Review of VAT returns
  • Assist with the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and the year-end audit process
  • Supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Director in updating forecast models
  • Developing and improving the current accounting system
  • Ad-hoc project work and general administration when required
    • ProfileTo be considered for this Management Accountant position in the City of London the following criteria is desirable:
  • Prior experience working within financial services (essential)
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified
  • Proven track record of working effectively within a team to achieve collective business objectives
  • Strong communication skills are essential for this position
  • Happy to work in small team and have all accounting responsibilities
