Job Description

Senior Finance Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ICAEW)6 month FTC, hybrid working, office located in Central London (easily accessible)Salary: £350-£450 per day/ £70k-£80k per annum equivalentOur client is an award winning distillery that produces UK-based artisanalspiritsto the retail and hospitality sectors.They are looking for an interim Senior Finance Accountant to join their team and help them prepare for their year-end. Thisincludes preparing statutory accounts, consolidating group accounts, and liaisingwith external auditors for the annual audit.What will you be doing

  • Prepare the annual statutory group financial statements and controlled UK subsidiaries for submission.
  • Preparing the group consolidation file and supporting documents, including coordinating and working with local and foreign finance team members outside of London to record and report on all noncentrally managed subsidiaries and joint entities.
  • Leading and being the central point of contact for the annual audit by liaising and coordinating with external auditors.
  • Manage certain complex areas across the team, e.g. impairment, provisions, intangibles, intercompany, investment in subsidiaries, joint ventures.
Your skill set includes:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Experience of preparing financial statements
  • Strong understanding of financial statement concepts and principles
  • Excellent technical accounting skills and thorough understanding FRS 102 / UK GAAP / IFRS
  • Experience with SAP preferable and strong Excel skills
  • FMCG industry experience preferable
