Job Description

Our client, a global and innovative business has a 12-month contract available for an Employee Relations Advisor with experience in Subject Access Requests and GDPR.You will be managing compliance for all UK and Ireland Data Subject Access Requests, requests for erasure and other GDPR related activities as required. This will entail managing the end to end process from initial request, to completion overseen by the ER Advisors responsible for Data Privacy in the UK and in Ireland.Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a point of contact for enquiries from HR on Data Protection and Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) requests along with established ER teams
  • Work with the respective ER contact to agree the strategy for each DSAR request to achieve a reasonable and proportionate response.
  • Collate the data sent from relevant parties and co-ordinate the redaction of data and collation of response to the requestor.
  • Liaise with the Global Data Privacy team as required for completion of DSARs and requests for erasure.
  • Escalate any challenges regarding conflicting priorities to Line Manager to agree appropriate resolution.
  • Note taking for Investigation, Disciplinary and Grievance meetings. Including typing up notes in a timely manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the ER team as required and guided by the ER Senior Analyst i.e. printing and arranging countersignature of Settlement Agreement and posting to Solicitor; general filing.
  • Qualifications, knowledge and Skill requirements:
  • Educated to Higher Level or Equivalent.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in parallel and work to strict legal deadlines.
  • Strong team player with the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Act and Data Subject Access Requests would be valuable but not essential.
  • Responsible and discreet with the ability to deal with confidential and/or sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good stakeholder management.
