Three centuries later, the Lloyds market continues that proud tradition, sharing risk in order to protect, build resilience and inspire courage everywhere.The RoleResponsible for data design from conception to implementation to ensure effective and efficient ingestion, storage and use of data. You will specifically be supporting the Delegated Authority Programme - the DA Programme aims to improve the end-to-end process for doing delegated authority business within the Lloyds market. These improvements are achieved through implementation of new technology and streamlining processes. Currently, the DA Programme is implementing three solutions: Chorus, Workbench and DA SATS.What Will You Do-Accountable for ensure a consistent approach to design and integration of data.-Thought leadership in ensuring that data dependent solutions are architected, designed and delivered to meet both the functional and non-functional demands of the stakeholders across the organisation.-Identification and creation of architectural components of data products and services to meet business needs.-Ensure that Lloyds data architecture aligns with and improves Lloyds Market data access and integration-Proactively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement in support of new product and service offerings across the business.-Communicating data models to development teams and the impact of data architecture on requirements to the business community using entity relationships, data flows, schema designs and documentation.-Working collaboratively as part of the broader architecture team, sharing ideas and experience as the subject matter expert in Data Architecture.What Youll Need SkillsData architecture or associated technical disciplines.Problem solving capabilities working with end user to collaborative understand their data requirements and design solutions that fulfil the requirements.Flexibility to quick learn on the job especially about the unique way in which the Lloyds Insurance Market Operates.Highly developed consultancy skills, including facilitation, structuring complex arguments, solving complex problems and analytical skills.Strong communication skills focusing on the ability to explain and present complex technical issues clearly and confidently to a non-technical audience.Stakeholder management at programme level.KnowledgeHas worked in a self-motivated problem-solving environment.Technical knowledge in an IT related discipline e.g. programming, electronics, statistics.Has engaged in project work and worked as part of a team with a demonstrable track record in problem solving and building solutions, writing technical documentation and presenting findings to stakeholders.As the successful candidate, you can expect to be rewarded with a competitive annual salary and benefits.
