Business Applications and Data Manager - MS SharePoint - London - £50,000My client is a is an independent body, that regulates party and election finance and sets standards for how elections should be run.Due to demands on IT systems they are looking to recruit a Business Applications and Data Manager to be based in there Central London Office. Reporting to the Head of Digital, Data, you will provide strategic direction for business applications and data management and development to meet the corporate and business objectives that have been set.The objectives set will include management, user support and training for all applications including MS Dynamics CRM, MS SharePoint and applications built on the Mendix platform. Working with the Information and Knowledge Management team to support users to make best and appropriate use of these applications to ensure efficiency in business processes and compliance with statutory requirements. Main Responsibilities*To ensure teams use of the organisations key applications such as its SharePoint implementation Skynet and CRM. *To have a detailed technical understanding of the potential uses of key applications and how they can work together including integrations and the development of custom automated information management solutions to deliver efficiencies in working processes.*To manage the continuous development of key applications including engaging with users to gain feedback, specification of enhancements and the management of deployment of system changes. *To support the Commissions migrations to O365 and hybrid/cloud based application model.Project Delivery *To be responsible for business applications and data management project work assigned by the Head of Digital, Data, Technology & Facilities providing continuity of service and technology improvements for the Commission and delivering to budget and on time*Develop technical specifications to support the changes required in the Ways of Working project*Work with internal users to test and refine recommendations and ensure user engagement *Using expert technical knowledge to work with suppliers to support the procurement of new tools and services*Work collaboratively with colleagues across Digital, Data, Technology & Facilities teams to ensure project changes are efficient, secure and user friendly and delivered in a way that meets wider organisational business needsPerson SpecificationSubstantial experience of managing an application support function A good knowledge of Windows 10 or higher and of Microsoft Office 2016 or higherTechnical knowledge and experience of MS SharePoint 2013 or higher and MS Dynamics (on premise) Experience of data visualisation technologies and techniques Experience of virtual desktop environmentsExperience in migrations from on premise to cloud implementations Knowledge of low code/SaaS application support and development Experience in developing and implementing data management strategies Spring acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
