Job Description

1:1 Learning Support AssistantWhiston Based Mainstream Primary SchoolJob start date- September 2023Job descriptionThe Supply Register are looking for an experienced, 1:1 Learning Supported Assistant to join the team of a mainstream primary school in Whiston, Liverpool.Your role would be supporting a Child with mild ASD and no behavioural issues in KS2 of a mainstream school. You will be supporting the pupil throughout the day alongside their timetable whilst helping to grow and develop their social and academic skillsand abilities.Pay is set at a very competitive daily rate, paid weekly every Friday through The Supply Register, for work during term time.The school is very close to main public transport links to Liverpool City Centre and surrounding, staff parking, open air, grass surrounded environment, lovely school building, supportive Head and team.Requirements

  • Experience supporting Children in an educational or similar setting within the last 3 years with references to support.
  • A childcare qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • To have an engaging and energetic personality is a must.
  • Always ensuring safeguarding is kept to a high standard.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • To care about your work and do the best for your students.
  • To be a commited member of staff with high standards of attendance.
  • Be able to provide all of the required documentation we require.
