Job Description

Compliance Officer/Safeguarding Administrator - Join our Dynamic Team!Reed is working with a client to offer an opportunity workingas a Compliance Officer/Safeguarding Lead and be part of an amazingteam at our Head Office in Whetstone, London. Your integral role will involve gathering and processing documentation from newand existing candidates to ensure their suitability for work. This administrative position requires exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage safeguarding incident management, ensuring adherence to our Safeguarding Policy and collaborating with client schools, LADO, and candidates
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and practices within the Education sector
  • Conduct comprehensive compliance vetting checks for new candidates and maintain up-to-date documentation for existing candidates
  • Thoroughly cross-check documentation to identify any inconsistencies
  • Ensure accurate data entry in our CRM system
  • Regularly communicate with candidates and referees
  • Provide feedback to the Compliance Manager regarding compliance issues and suggest process improvements
  • Work collaboratively within a team structure
Key Skills and Attributes:
  • Confident and articulate communicator, both in person and on the telephone
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritisation abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Previous experience in the recruitment industry or within a school environment with safeguarding involvement is preferred but not essential. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The salary ranges from £25,000 to £30,000based on experience.Benefits of Working with Us:
