Job Description

Reed Business Support are urgently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to work at a beautiful Holiday Park in Holt.Main Duties

  • To effectively manage the Housekeeping Team to achieve the highest standard of cleanliness through the Park/s including all hire fleet accommodation, facility buildings and all public areas.
  • Liaise with the Estates & Quality Assurance (EQA) Manager to ensure business objectives and priorities are met.
  • Ensure agreed objectives and tasks are achieved through the provision of a clean, tidy, safe and well-maintained environment for both guests and colleagues alike.
  • Duties and hours may vary dependent upon the areas which require cleaning, number of colleagues within the team and the time of year.

    • Responsibilities
  • Promote and maintain good working relationships throughout the Housekeeping Team.
  • Motivate and encourage staff to work efficiently and effectively to achieve a high standard of work.
  • Ensure the efficient and smooth running of the Housekeeping Department.
  • Ensure good working practices of staff under your supervision, especially where chemicals and hazardous substances are in use i.e. COSHH. •
  • Produce work sheets in order to allocate work in advance
  • Prepare and distribute a planned and costed rota for the team, taking into account planned activities and any staff absence.
  • To deal with guests in a pleasant, thoughtful and courteous manner at all times, meeting Company expectations in the Customer Service standards.
  • Carry out quality checks in hire fleet accommodation, touring facilities and public areas on Park to ensure the agreed standards are maintained.
  • Ensure hire fleet accommodation quality check-backs our carried out by the Housekeeping team
  • Work with EQA to ensure Housekeeping job requests are completed within the agreed timescales
