Sheet Metal FabricatorPerm role, Pay up to £16/hr DOE initially, Days, Mon to FriWETHERBYInteraction Recruitment are looking for an experienced Fabricator to work for a busy and growing Manufacturing/Engineering company based near to Wetherby.The successful candidate must be Apprentice Trained or Time Served and have previous Sheet Metal Welding/Fabrication experience. Other key skills you will need include:-MIG & TIG Welding to high standards-Read and work from technical drawings-Experience of using Press Brakes and Laser Cutters would be beneficial-Must be able to Fabricate with both Mild and Stainless Steel-Good attention to detail-Must be able to work both independently and as part of a teamDay to day tasks will include:-Fabricating/Welding bespoke Fabrications-Low volume production-Repairs and alterations-Prototyping-Ensuring productivity is maintained and all targets met-Use Hand Tools and Mechanical equipment where necessary-Keeping the workshop clean and tidy at all timesYou will be required to work 40hrs per week, 7am to 4pm from Mon to Fri. The role is advertised as Permanent and with an initial Pay Rate of up to £16p/hr Depending on Experience.
