Job Description

A fixed-term HR Administrator contract until the end of the year to support our non-profit clients. Home working is available several days per week.Client DetailsOur client is a non-profit based in Wetherby. They are looking for new staff who are eager to learn and progress, and are really keen to offer development opportunities for those with an interest in HR.DescriptionDuties of the HR Administrator will include:

  • To support projects and day to day activities within the HR Team, under the guidance of colleagues
  • To provide support to ensure a professional recruitment, on-boarding and employee lifecycle experience
  • Take ownership to resolve queries effectively and quickly ensuring a consistently high customer service approach and robust audit trails
  • Getting involved with casework, this will include but is not limited to advising employees, responding to queries, organising meetings, creating case packs, and note-taking for formal meetings
  • Ensure external job boards and advertising medium are used appropriately and as requested ensuring any costs are budgeted to the correct financial costings
  • Support with the interview process, liaising with external agencies, coordinating interviews and supporting on interview panels, as required
ProfileEssential requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisational skills, with ability to manage time, plans and workload to meet priorities
  • Able to work independently and great problem solving skills
  • Experience of drafting / amending formal documents and taking minutes
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Experience of working on projects with set outcomes and timescales
  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • IT literate including all Office programmes
  • Experience in either HR Administrator roles or general admin
