Childrens Home Registered ManagerCurrently looking to recruit for a Registered Manager to manage a childrens and young peoples care home in Dover. My client caters to children and young people with EBD (emotional and behavioural difficulties) and other behaviours that may challenge.As well as a very generous starting salary of £38,000 per year, progressing to £48,000 with length in service, you will also receive a £5,000 welcome bonus after completion of your probation period with other benefits available to you. Further financial incentives are available pending OFSTED Inspection rating and occupancy levels. You have the potential to earn an additional £12,000 per year through the companys bonus scheme!!You will enjoy 34 days of holiday entitlement, including bank holidays for an excellent work and home life balance. In addition you will recieve 4 weeks of paid sick leave! Your work week will consist of 40 hours per week, inclusive of on-call duties. Having a Full UK driving license is essential and having access to a vehicle is favourable to get to and from work. You will need to have the relevant Registered Manager awards and qualification already in place to be considered for this role.As an experienced Registered Manager, you will have knowledge of OFSTED Regulations and be up to date with Childcare & Child Protection Laws. As well as having a proven track record in working with vulnerable children and young people, you will also ensure the smooth running of the home by managing and supporting your staff team by being available and promoting reflective practice. You will ensure the children in your care are being supported and looked after in line with their personalised Care Plans. You will communicate with different professional bodies such as Social Services, Health Practitioners, parents/families amongst others. You will use your organisational skills to provide safe levels of staff along with your natural abilities to be aware of dynamics with the children and within your staff team.Along with having the experience above, you will also use your good sense of humour, initiative, integrity and honesty in order to build a good bond with your team and the children living at the home.
