Job Description

Process Engineer£21,500Up to 12 month contractKings Hill / remote working (working from home)Monday to Friday - 35 hour week32 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus 1 additional carrot day if no sickness in a yearGenerous pension scheme (up to 11% employer contribution), enhanced maternity and paternity and health cash plan schemeImmediate start (subject to pre-employment checks)Application process closes Friday 29th January 2021Our financial services client is looking for a Business Process Engineer to join their team at a really exciting and pivotal point of their transformation process as they look at introducing a new core banking system to their internal teams and their customer base.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience either as a Junior Business Analyst or within a processing / QA / BA role, or perhaps you are a Business Management Graduate looking to utilise your degree in a practical environmentDuties for this Process Engineer position will include but not be limited to:

  • Attending workshops and process design sessions
  • Developing an understanding of the "to be" processes and accurately document the new processes, using Visio or an equivalent
  • Document process to Level 2 or detail, with appropriate annotations and explanation so that any team member can pick up the document and follow the new process
  • Document relevant risks and controls associated with the new processes
  • Work with the key SMEs and stakeholders in business areas
  • The successful Process Engineer will have / be:
  • Previous Junior Business Analyst experience or experience within a processing / QA / BA role (or a Business Management Graduate with the theoretical knowledge)
  • Basic knowledge of process documentation
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and analytical skills
  • A proactive, driven individual who is confident to ask questions and contribute
  • A highly valued and supported member of a critical team within the company
