Job Description

Property Voids Operative, permanent vacancy-based Plymouth. Working for a UK social housing provider on a full time basis, Monday to Friday requires an experienced voids operative who has had previous exposure to property assessment and checks, prior toand following end of tenancy. Offered at a salary up to £23,000, plus some exceptional employee benefits, you will need a Full UK Driving License and access to your own transport.Working as part of a wider team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate checking of houses and living accommodation, assessing for cleanliness, appliance and property checks, arranging for immediate repairs and property maintenance with theengineering team. Reporting to the Head of Property Services, you will be provided with the necessary check lists, working to a standards of acceptance.For the role of Property Voids Operative, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to produce written confirmation, producing emails for all necessary parties, able to explain and define the types of work required to ensure thatproperties are handled correctly. There is communication with tenants, landlords, maintenance teams, the removal and collection of rubbish and general tidying of upon assessment completion.You will be provided with mobile telephone, laptop and other equipment to enable you to complete tasks and work duties. The need to drive to and from properties with all expenses paid, ensuring that you assess and check the daily requirement of propertiesin line with stated contracts.
